RACHIT SETH

Rachit Seth is a student of the policy and politics. He intends to bridge the gap between policy and policy makers. Currently he is a student of Post Graduate Programme at Takshashila Institute, Bangalore and pursuing a research fellowship with National Innovation Foundation.

An Architect by qualification, he entered the political space first in 2009 and was one of the founding members of the Digital initiatives of the Indian National Congress. After establishing a decent presence of the political organisation on Social Media, he devoted half a decade in mainstream media communication as the National Media Coordinator of the Congress party.

With an aim to consolidate the link between politicians and policy practitioners, he voluntarily resigned from the Congress in July 2019. He has no qualms in proclaiming though, that Indira Gandhi is his lifelong inspiration.

Exploring intellectually enriching avenues, he is also working as a consultant for policy makers and has had the privilege of working with the topmost names in the political and policy space.

His writings have been published in CNNNews18, Wion News, National Interest and many reputed publications, although he prefers to publish most of his writings on his personal website and platforms.

His current area of interests are National Security, India-China Relations, Kautilya's Arthshastra, Water Conservation and Sustainable Cities.

In this website, you will find both his articles as a political practitioner and currently as a policy wonk.
